Caps hockey jerseys for sale on March 20! When talk about to Washington Capitals Stadium Series jerseys, I must say they are the most hideous jerseys I’ve ever seen.
The new navy jerseys featuring a shortened “CAPS” version of their primary logo.
To be Honest, I thought when the Washington Capitals debuted these at the 2018 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series earlier this month, that it would be the last time any fan would have to see them.
But no, fans will have the chance to get to see them again Tuesday night, Capitals will bring back these outdoor game uniforms for their home game against Dallas.
Why I don’t like these jerseys?
First of all, the thick red band looks like a cummberbund that you wear with a tuxedo. Clothes like they are going to prom, not playing hockey.
Second, I’m all for being proud of the place you play for, but all of the subtle but not so subtle Washington details are a bit much.
One subtle but not subtle detail would have been enough. For example, the three stars above the name CAPS on the jersey looks really good.
But why feel the need to add a huge “W” on the pants with three stars also letting everyone know you play for the nation’s capital team?
Your name is the Washington Capitals. Your jersey has CAPS in bold letters on the front. I don’t think we can ever forget who you play for.
And wait, there’s more cheap jerseys online!
The selected jerseys will also be on sale at the game and at Kettler Capitals IcePlex jersey store for 25% off, while supplies last.
Lol…So you too can look like a hockey player that looks like he/she is going to prom right after the game.
